I hate being an Oklahoman

Hi everyone.

So as most of you should know the election was last night and Oklahoma was one of the few states that stayed completely red. I am very very mad. 

Why am I mad when this should have been expected?

Because I actually had hope this time. I was stupid enough to expect that the uneducated fucks in my state would actually want some change in our state. Once again, I have been proven wrong. We are 50th in education for a reason. I inadvertently checked facebook this morning and saw a plethora of "we got them dems" and "we successfully kept the state red."

WHY IS IT ABOUT POLITICAL PARTY INSTEAD OF ACTUAL VALUES?????

If there was a republican candidate that had good values, I would gladly vote for them. But the people in my state are so fixated on the label of republican that they can't see that they are fucking themselves over and over again.

I can't even bring myself to celebrate the good candidates in other states because my state is not going to see any positive change. 

My sister (13, in 7th grade) is struggling in school. She has no homework, is reading at a 4th grade level, and their state testing scores are abysmal. Is our new governor going to fix our education system? Of course not, because they want to keep us uneducated.

I'm not going to apologize for being political because this is something I am deeply passionate about. If your political candidate won, congratulations. At least one of us is celebrating.

Fuck Oklahoma. Fuck Trump. Fuck ICE.

Hi everyone!

So, I have been looking at my blog stats and discovered two websites that have been generating a lot of viewers for me. At first, I thought, "Okay, maybe a lot of people just clicked on my Chatbox comment." Then I looked and saw that MY BLOG was mentioned on their favorite blogs lists!

I am still smiling about it. I know that it shouldn't be that big of a deal, but I am so honored.

After putting in a lot of thought into this blog, it's amazing to see that others like it too. Never in my life have I been shouted out for anything. This just makes me even happier that I found the blogging community. Y'all are just too sweet and supportive.

This has given me an idea. Once a week (or whenever I can. I hate self-appointed deadlines), I will highlight some up-and-coming blogs. It's not just going to be a link drop and a shout-out. It will be an in-depth review of everything I see, including gadgets, themes, and blog posts. 

Hopefully, this helps people grow their audiences and encourages them to continue working on their blogs.

A fresh new look!

Hi everyone!

October has sadly ended. BUT! I have spent the last few hours tweaking my blog and curating a theme that reflects who I am. If you look above this post, you will see that I have made a new "Codes" tab. On this tab will be every gadget code that I have. Hopefully this makes your blog journey a little bit easier.
